Tyler MahonyTyler Mahony played Ultimate at South High School before going to Carleton College and winning the D-I College National Championships with the Carleton Ultimate Team! [Editor's note: This is ridiculously impressive.] He also played one season with the University of Minnesota Grey Duck. Tyler founded YUP with Jamie and Aly (see Past Coaches) and is excited to be coaching again this summer!

Leona DeRangoLeona played her high school ultimate at Open World Learning in St. Paul, and also played for Minnesota Superior at the Youth Club Championships! She is currently a sophomore at the University of Puget Sound where she played at College Nationals last year and is looking to again this year! This will be her second year coaching at YUP!

Past
Jamie Fassett-CarmanJamie founded YUP with Aly and Tyler in the summer of 2011, and has been involved in Middle School Ultimate ever since! He has served on the board of the MNYUL (Minnesota Youth Ultimate League), has helped several schools set up after school Ultimate classes through Community Education, and organized Minnesota's first middle school ultimate league! He will not be coaching YUP this summer as he has moved on to other business ventures (check out Trapped Puzzle Rooms!)
Robin Fassett-CarmanRobin captained the Southwest Müs to victory at the state championships in her senior year of Highschool! Then went on to attend Colorado College, where she played for the Lysistrata's Tools, their D-1 women's team. Strata made it to the D-1 College National Championships in 2014, and again in 2016 under Robin's leadership! Robin will not be coaching YUP this summer because she loved Colorado so much she decided to stay there after graduating.

Aly Fassett-CarmanAly is a phenomenal Ultimate player and an equally good coach. She founded YUP with Jamie and Tyler before going to Middlebury College, VT, where she captained the Middlebury Lady Pranksters to a spot in the D1 College National Championships!! Prior to that, she led the South High School ultimate team to victory at the state championships! She is also the all-time leading Spirit Award winner at any level of play. She will not be coaching YUP this summer as she is studying neuroscience at Brandeis University.
